I know Bradbury for his sci Fi novels, but I chose this one for these days of Halloween and like the beginning of this story.

I've read the first six stories: the first three are more creepy, the last three are different, saddest, I think.

I've finished the second Novel, "The mask". The first was filled with a horror and madness. The second is more nostalgic and sad.

First story: Strange atmosphere, an alternative America, something has to happen.

Finished ch 15: the box looks to be a stroke of luck for Gwendy, but things can change quickly in this type of stories. :)

Finished chapter 1: a beginning intriguing and with many possibilities.

Finished ch 9: this story is really exciting, the pace in this part is the one of a mystery, but there always seems to be a horror element in the background that could emerge at any moment. :)

Chapter 11: now the story becomes interesting. What Charles Jacobs is doing with electricity? I have to wait tomorrow. :)

I'm in the middle of the fourth chapter. So far, it's a sad story, not spooky. I can't imagine how King will change cards on the table. :)

Finished first chapter. Not much has happened yet, but King's writing is wonderful!!

Finished the second story. It's a funny series, sci Fi, with more mystery elements and good psychological study of the characters.

I'm halfway through the first of the four novels in this collection. For now it is not bad, the main character is witty, there is action and mystery. Perhaps a little too much space for the psychoogical analysis of the character at the expense of pure science fiction, but I have read little until now.

Finished ch7. A gripping novel, full of action, intrigues and twists.
