the dialogue and character interactions are cliched and overly melodramatic. fear of connection can be done well but it feels worn out here. the mc is too immature for her role as a team leader. narrative nor character develop credibility required for believability.
the plot is engaging and fun but i was consistently pulled out of the story by YA introspection and melodrama that undermine narrators authority
