Sonnets XLIII-XLIX
For this week’s batch of sonnets, Sonnets XLIII & XLVII are the standouts. The first for using such great consonance and chiasmi, which underscore how his day and nights are dark and light respectively, since he sees his love in his dreams but not during the day. The second for how the eyes and heart are guests for one another, depending on if he sees his love, or if he’s just thinking of her.
