okay, so this time around I did cry a bit. The graphic audio is way better than the book. If you know, then you know.

That was another thing that didn't make sense to me.

Not her saying "holy fvcking hot" again. That is not a good line, don't use it again! UGH!

Okay, now I remember! There was a lot of LUST in the NOVEL but there was no chemistry between Zayden and Violet, other than them both making one-liner digs at each other. There's little to no relationship development in the book, the dramatized version isn't as boring as the novel and it doesn't have the same weird phrases the author would throw in. Their relationship seems a lot less cheesy, in this adaptation.

okay, so I get that Zayden is supposed to be her "mortal enemy" and all but uh, the other guys training there have tried to kill the main character way more than Zayden has. In fact, Zayden hasn't tried to kill her once. I guess this is enemies to lovers but, he hasn't actually done anything but help her so far. lmao, girl what? Where is the "dangerous mortal enemies" part?

Yeah, the dramatized version is 100% better than just the book. I straight up hated the book. Yes, the main character is still a Mary Sue, but the story is interesting when presented this way. It was boring when I read the book, boring and too long with ugly plot holes and terrible verbiage.

The dramatized version REALLY makes this story interesting, but I still have questions and certain things in the plot still don't make sense. I gave the original story 2 boring stars, let's see if the dramatized versions earn higher scores.

Well, there were a few things I had forgotten over the last 15 years. It was still the same train wreck I remember though, lmao! Review to come!

*note to self* it takes a while to get exciting (55%) but once things start, the story gets more exciting than the entire first book.
