I've missed reading short stories and I've had this in my possession for so long so I figured it was time. Plus I haven't read the post colonial African writers in such a long time. Let's see if Mr Things Fall Apart still got it.

This is a very stressful read. There's high stakes here and a lot of tension. Ko tense maan. Tjerrrrrrrr!

This is written in such an accessible way. It reads like a book that was written and released in the 2010s. I love it.

This family has a weird way of dealing with their pain and hurt.

I'm learning so much about the more bigger publishing world. Some of my suspicions have been proven correct. This book is a little eerie.

What a weird first chapter.
