I’m a simple human, I see Isabel Allende I read it 🫢. But I will say, according to the blurb the protagonist is a 60 year old man who seems to fall in love with a ‘young undocumented immigrant from Guatemala’. Can’t say I’m particularly excited to read that. Also I bought this copy from bookxcess and it smells funky…
