I am really on 665, but wanted to type 666.

Every once in awhile DeLillo throws out a gem of a sentence - I always mean to mark them so I can share them, but there is never a pencil around when I need it.

I am going to have to clear some time to actually read this week.

Only 35 pages in, and am totally immersed in the story and pulled in by the prose.

With the deadlines I am trying to meet with work, there is NO WAY I am going to be able to read 300 pages by tomorrow evening. Stupid work.

I started reading the introduction and then realized he was basically telling me everything I was just about to read. I hate that about introductions. Getting into the nitty-gritty now.
