Ok WOW!! The Marauders Map seems so much cooler and much more useful in the book and I wish they'd brought a lot more of its details into the movie. I also just love the whole journey through the passage to Honeyduke's, and the following eavesdropping of the teacher's conversation, much much more in the book. It also makes more sense than harry sneaking up into the private room in his cloak.

The line about Wood trying to drown himself in the showers actually made me laugh and I think it definitely should’ve been in the movie

My boy Peeves also deserved to be in the movies ‼️💯‼️‼️

Snape ominously offering Lupin a smoking goblet should definitely have been in the movies lol

If the Buckbeak riding scene was described more like the movie then the Care of Magical Creatures lesson as a whole was better in the book, but obviously the movies great too and provides much needed Malfoy content 🤭 but I would've loved to see a whole group of hippogriffs and the rest of the class interacting with them rather than just Harry as usual...

I feel like the whole scene inside the chamber of secrets was better in the movie. More suspenseful and dramatic and also seemed to last longer but the book is still really good
