Why did I think it was a good idea to read a hook this sad?

I’m crying like an inconsolable child because the memory of the Yezidi massacre is still fresh in my mind but it still hurts to read about it over and over again, just how much capacity for sorrow and grief must one have to live in the Middle East sureounded by the memory of death and the threat of living in the same horrors?
