These last two chapters I think were some of the best yet!

“In sanctification, God invites you to wait. Your conformity to the likeness of Jesus Christ is a process and not an event.” Sanctification is such a walking work 😭

talking about being made in the image of God and whew this chapter was timely, convicting and also made me cry!

“Good theology never produces angry, arrogant, bullying, disrespectful, harm-producing outrage. Theology that does not produce gentle, patient, and respectful love falls short of God’s standard for how his truth should be handled and what should be produced.”

“And while we wait for the final renewal, we commit ourselves to gospel work, longing that every damaged image bearer would receive that same grace that is now at work in us.”

The sweetest images came to mind with these two chapters 🥺

“Have you lost your theological minds” reference to Midnight Sun because I was clearly exhausted yesterday 🫠🤦🏾‍♀️ that quote was for this! I just happened to be on the same page for both books

Wow oh wow, these two chapter broke my heart with revelation upon revelation of my own sin. And, how great is the Lord who loves us dearly that He is sovereign above all things.

this chapter broke my brain.

“The holiness of God decimates our autonomy of self-sufficiency and drives us to the Savior, who alone is able, by his life and death, to unite unholy people to a holy God.”

This chapter was incredible. This quote wont do the chapter justice but it’s one that I can’t stop thinking about.

Is it possible that this could potentially wreck me in the best way more than Dangerous Calling..the answer is most likely yes!
