Absolutely loving this book so far!! The world building was so fluid, easy to fall into. I would love to see an animated version of this story and the authors vision for the characters.

I'm really loving the characters so far. I have to say it's kind of a hard read, the detail in which they describe the slave ships and brutality of human beings is heartbreaking. Even though we all know the history it's always difficult to read about. I'm looking forward to finding out when and under what circumstance the sisters will finally meet.

I wasn't planning on reading this.. but I'm glad I picked it up!
