Sadly they managed to kill the liopleuodon, or did they? However they also managed to capture the young liopleuodon.

David Taylor are out for a joyride in one of the manta subs, when they find themselves in the path of the liopleurodon, and they have another reason to be afraid of this ancient sea monster. They have made a discovery in the antarctic, that the rival to the megalodon known as levytan a prehistoric whale; is still alive.

We learn more about the apex of the deep liopleurodon. About how it is a nocturnal hunter, and just how aggressive it is.

We learn about the dolphin slaughter that goes on in Japan, and how the Shonisaurs nearly cause that operation to stop.

We learned exactly how some of the megalodons are able to reproduce without a mate. Apparently some of them don't need a made, and reproduce asexually. Meaning that ones that they give birth to, are exact duplicates of the mother.

David Taylor the son of Jonas Taylor is in therapy. Cause in the previous book he witnessed his fiancee get eaten by a liopleurodon. Now David is going to try to recapture the lio.

So, the villain has been killed trying to kill Jonas Taylor out of revenge. Now they are working to bring Angel the megalodon back into her enclosure.

We found what Michael Marren has against Jonas Taylor, that he wants to feed him to the Megalodon known as Scarface. We also find out that Terry Taylor really wants to leave the hunt, as she is tempted to cheat on her husband Jonas.

Jonas is starting to realize the kind of danger they are in, when the male megalodon starts attacking the extreme stunts people known as the Daredevils.

So, far Jonas suspects that something is going on, like he is being set up; as he noticed a dead sperm whale with a huge bit taken out of it.

So far it seems that Terry knows that the Megalodon known as Angel is the one responsible for killing the whales, that have beached themselves. But, now how to capture this alpha predator. Jonas on the other hand is trying to not get his daughter involved in the extreme reality tv show that is Daredevils.
