bro really had to listen to the creature monologue, in excruciating detail, the last two to three years of its life and then gets saved by this sailor dude and is like, “matter of fact, i’ll repeat all that to you” and wonders why he’s so miserable all the time

two thoughts: 1) weird that the creature is exclusively a background character thusfar and 2) what do you MEAN you created life TWO YEARS AGO??? and have been just chillin????
