this is soooo good so far

I like the story, and I like the plot but honestly I hate back and forth telling of then's and now's that Im skipping through a lot.

im sad having judgmental english teachers from school is still affecting my ability to voice my opinions on books for the fear of being "wrong" even though writing is an art and there's no "wrong" way to view/understand/interpret art???

idk why but reading this book i keep imagining the professor from shameless who had an affair with lip and i can't think of anyhing else

i feel like i am the only person on booktok that does NOT like Moshfegh's writing

ottessa moshfegh is a really good writer. i only read myorar and didn't like it too much, but could acknowledge she is good at writing. 'death in her hands' is very comforting to me right now and idk why
