is 'the summer of broken rules' a worthy read? i dont like YA typically (really i just feel weird reading it being an adult) but i kinda already started it

i'm not even that far into this and i am just amazed at how relatable and accurate this is. it reminds me of 'exciting times' and just how i feel like they both are in my brain and writing out all of my thoughts.

I'm not interested at all yet. it's all very bland and I really dont like how Henry decided to write about plots having the same direction and then taking the same direction. idk. even if its supposed to be funny i just find it extremely lazy.
