Usually, I don't care much for 'Audible Podcasts' (more like audio dramas) but decided to give this one a try since the story and cast were interesting.

“Tell me a story, she thinks.
No: not good enough.
Tell me an ending.
She knows what a happy ending is now. A happy ending is an answer. It doesn’t even have to be a happy answer.
Just something that allows the book to be closed, so that everyone can move on with their lives.”

Warning: Language

I couldn't put it more eloquently:

“But that’s that. Noor’s going to have to go home that night without knowing what the fuck. Chances of ever finding out what the fuck are decreasing by the minute, she realizes. She might live out the rest of her life, years and years of it, and die, without ever knowing what the actual fuck.”

Dang, that was a tough end to that particular chapter for Oscar.

I haven’t read Feist in a very long time, and I’m pretty excited for this new series.

This chapter has so many quotable lines.

“You do have a past. You have influences. Whatever happened, happened, whether or not you remember it. Just because you can’t remember the ingredients, it doesn’t mean you’re not a cake.”
