While I find myself agreeing with most of the policy ideas in this book, it's clear the writers aren't trying to turn anyone from the other side--it's a bit tone-deaf to the culture wars. Page 93, talking about the extraction industries (54,000 coal miners, 1.4 million in gas and oil) "That's a lot of people and they all deserve to have good work after we abolish their industries."
