the obvious aversion toward labels like bisexual or lesbians in this book is weird to me, it’s one thing to be unlabeled yourself, it’s another to call meaningful labels rigid or not modern, language has power and it’s not uncool to just say you’re a lesbian or bi, there’s freedom and joy to be found in those identities and they carry a rich history we shouldn’t just discredit

I really enjoy the voice of this author, it’s fresh and witty and a good mix between earnest and ironic/amusing
