The differences between Dain and Xaden are like might and day. I don’t think I hate Dain simply for being a different person than Xaden. But overall I’m loving the story- if Eragon and An Ember in the Ashes had a baby, it would be this book. Also, this is low level enemies to lovers and on that I am disappointed.

So far I’m loving it, but also can’t tell why people hate Dain. Sure he’s not picture perfect and wouldn’t defy all odds for Violet but he’s not a bad guy. Unless things change I don’t know why people hate him.
