If you're wondering "Hey, I thought Dan said this was a great series, why is he reading it so slowly?" well, sometimes, you need to pace yourself reading a book or you can get too obsessed, I had that problem with Oathbringer (I literally couldn't sleep because I was obsessing over the story), and I'm trying to avoid it here by taking it in bite size chunks, but let me be clear: this is top-notch fantasy.

Islington is just such an amazing writer, my only problem is that it's been 2 years since I read the first 2 books and I'm having trouble remembering all the secondary characters and jargon (even with a 20+ page summary of the first two books to serve as a refresher). Oh well, it's an 800+ page book, I'll figure it out. :)

Yup, that's right, I read it TWO DAYS IN A ROW. Wild.
