I cannot believe the amount of people who share similar beliefs as me say that this book changed their lives. This is one of the most supercilious things I've ever encountered in my life. What an arrogant condescending man. I had to take a break from reading at "often the poor man is no so cold and hungry as he is dirty and ragged and gross. It is partly his haste, and not merely his misfortune."

I accidentally borrowed this ebook from the library. I was going to return it but decided to to read Goodreads reviews and give it a shot before returning it. I'm glad I did--This book is great so far!
