There are realities and circumstances that are beyond our power to change… but we do have a choice to grow from them. This last chapter was heartwrenching. But we made it through with more resolve than when we started it. 🥹

My heart breaks at the thought of forgetting things or people whom I wish to remember forever… 💔

Just finished part 1, and it was actually pretty sweet. It’s disappointing to know we can’t change the past, but it’s reassuring to remember that, when given the chance to learn from it, we can change the trajectory of our future.

Still a little confused…. But maybe with a bit more apprehension sprinkled in. 😅

Very insightful so far! I’m definitely gaining some new perspective and understanding about Autism and I’m not even halfway through.

Bitterness, anger, vengefulness, and resentment can take you down the path of no return… My heart ached for these characters. 💔

First, I love the how the narrative styles change throughout the book. This book is giving some good perspective about how families are shaped by tragedy and trauma and how it impacts the future.

I love the author’s storytelling voice—it’s almost like a documentary. The story so far is relatable and heart wrenching. Makes me reflect on my own family.

My heart is literally racing. 😬 I am AGHAST at how fast this is escalating. What is happening?!

Amazing, the lengths someone would go to feed their insatiable pride and unabashedly stroke their ego.

Have you ever met someone whose word you simply cannot trust? They’re not “unreadable” per se, but they turn out to be exactly what you hope they’re not? That’s how I feel about this narrator at this point… but that’s just me. 😅
