I’m not at all sure of how I’m liking this book so far. I’m halfway through and I must say that the MC is sort of annoying me. How she says she will be resistant to them but falls to their feet, how most of her thoughts are only on men instead of how to better her life or the kingdom (there’s no fight) and what the heck is up with her needing to always go to her room. We’ll just have to see. For now…

It’s getting somewhere and I’m starting to like the forced proximity that’s going on as well! And I can also feel a new friendship brewing between Marshall and Juliette!

A bit slow paced right now and really long chapters that it’s hard to concentrate. I do love the characters but the plot is just moving at its own pace. I’m only halfway through so there’s still much left to be said. Fingers crossed!
