Seems so close to solving but with three hours to go, of course not. Sigh! Not sure if the author is torturing his protagonist, his readers himself or all of us!

I can’t believe I have to live through the same amount I’ve already listened to. The premise is intriguing, the metaphors unusual, the plot intricate, yet the characters are numerous with few sympathetic ones, the actions are confusing, and I don’t know that I’m enjoying the story enough to continue except for having nothing else to do on a long drive.

Getting tedious; just hope the payout is worth the length and repetition of events.
