If Moby Dick doesn’t appear soon...

The amount of unnecessary pages in this book is ridiculous... there are chapters on chapters of things that add absolutely nothing to the story.

Almost 400 pages in and I have not a Moby or a Dick to be seen. (I know Moby Dick is one word.)

I’m sure there are mirrors between the story just told and the main one with Ahab, but seriously?

Did they really have to spend a whole chapter talking about how they chart whales?
