Like I did with Endgame, I have to take a break from this book. It's hard to read about this and not be emotionally effected by it. It isn't just how many were killed but how they were killed. Man's inhumanity towards man is never easy to read about.

This book is as disturbing, infuriating, and upsetting as David Rhode's Endgame about Srebrenica was. I can't help but be moved to tears by what happened to the Armenians. It can't be justified and when you read the details in this book, I don't see how you can define the Ottoman actions as anything other than genocide.
