Something I like about the is book in the series is the protagonist finally reaches that top of the ranks and is able to start making fair system but there are still challenges he must face and be able to have him and his pack survive the storm of dogs!

Pretty good book with a good perspective through the life of a dog living in the wild. With brutal leaders in packs and a hierarchy that is nearly impossible to move up makes this series quite enjoyable and intense.
