I have sooo much 💜 for the book I read before this (The Bone Shard Daughter) that I was sure this would be an anticlimax, but it's already drawn me in and I'm only on chapter 2, so I guess I was wrong. The stories are like worlds apart (literally, as they take place on different planets), but the characters and relationships are super well handled in both and I can't wait to see where this one goes.
