Incredible writing. Oscar Wilde is the master of dialogues.

Incredibly moving and personal story about the person born into the GDR and saw the wall fall in his youth. Even more so interesting as if because his parents and grandparents each had a different kind of relationship with the GDR, Germany united, and Europe.

Like a action movie, the main characters keep escaping death. Unbelievable!

The story of Gerhard, a young German jew in exile in France. Joining the resistance. Really interesting.

I haven't been touched by a book this deeply for a long long time. I had to stop reading because it was so much for me. I don't think it was the author's intention or I doubt if he would have guessed this part of the book can have this kind of effect on anyone reading. But it did in some strange way made me reflect on my own life. Made me realize the excuses I make for myself is not valid and this is not the way.

Read a few pages on my commute because I wasn't in the mood of any other titles I'm reading. Piqued my interest and kept reading. It's a light read and flows smothly. It's an interesting way to gain insight about this significant period in the recent hiatory. I was always uneased that I don't know much about east & west germany and the Berlin wall.

The idea lost it's novelty. At this point I'm reading for the bible part more than the robots.

Interesting read. As Tim Urban of WaitButWhy put it, Musk might be the world's raddest man. Ashlee's writing is particularly easy to read. A real page turner. And I haven't got to the interesting parts yet! I mean Zip2 is nothing compared to what Musk is up to now.
