If it was longer I’d probably DNF it at this point. I don’t love it so far.

Oh good grief.

I don’t understand how there’s still 30% left in this book.

I wish the author had gotten an actor/professional to narrate the audiobook. There’s a strange cadence to his reading/words and it’s difficult to listen to.

Wolf is the hot guy from the hotel. (This is just a guess.)

I haaaaaate the accent the audiobook narrator has given Tessa. But I also hate the name Tessa Lynn (Tessalyn?).

Unless Kaitlin murders everyone in the end and this book ends up being MUCH darker than I anticipated, I do NOT understand why her POV is included. It’s such a cute book and her obsession is sooooo weird.

I’d like this book so much more without Caitlin. Her chapters are annoying.

I don’t know what the point of this other mom is yet in this story but she’s creeping me out.

I think somehow she’s actually married to the guardian and she’s also the cure to this infection or has some kind of healing powers.

Totally saw that.

So he humiliates her and breaks her heart at his sister’s engagement party (also stealing HER thunder) and then shows up randomly on her doorstep asking her to pretend to be dating him… why? To make his mom happy? It’s so flimsy. And she goes along with it… why? Literally, what is she getting out of it? He’s unapologetic about dumping her but she wants to fake break up with him this time and that’s even?

OH GOOD GRIEF. She’s getting assaulted and meanwhile max is throwing a hissy fit and storming out the door.

I’m having a hard time cheering for these two. They’re both so immature. Misunderstanding tropes drive me nuts and so far this one has had like, 5. Stop assuming the worst and actually communicate with each other or stop sleeping together.

I’m 22 minutes in and if it wasn’t so short I’d have stopped listening 10 minutes ago. It’s boring.

Not loving the style so far.

And then it immediately gets so much worse. UGH.

This book is pissing me off.

Slow and long but still good. Last 10% moved faster and wrapped everything up well.

Picking on a teenager and new levels of petty. For sure the author intends us to hate her.

I’m hoping the author intends for us to hate June because she just keeps getting more annoying.
