Sadly, I must consider putting this book down. I can deal with demonic puppets, zombie taxidermy squirrels & haunted houses filled with families working out generational trauma.
However, demonic hand puppets pushing sewing needles into a protagonist's eye is a sinister & violent bridge too far for me to cross.
