The pacing on this is weird. Feels like I should be at about the halfway point or just before but I'm more than 3/4 of the way through. It's still just been a series of conversations between pirates for the most part. I don't dread reading it or anything it's just kind of basic.

So far this is predictable and a little slow and the writing is fairly mediocre, but it's also fun and the fact that I so rarely read about pirates makes it feel fresh. I'm not hating it, basically.
