I never read romance but I got this for free and everyone loves this author, so I’m shaking things up. Trying something different. Testing it out.

Only 12% in (according to my kindle) and I just read a scene that literally was so masterfully done, weaving two timelines together into one moment, had my heart pounding. It was like an out of body experience, I was in the book.

Starting a reread before picking up Brimstone! I definitely don't remember this book well enough to just dive into book two.
