I can understand why some readers dislike Lucy, because she does some seriously stupid things. In her defense, however, the woman is needy and lonely and admits. It's sad - she spends $2000 on a total stranger, putting him in new clothes to keep him around. How many women out there have played sugar mamma to some guy for the same thing?

Starting to drag...I'm not quite down with the "zombies are humans, too" theme going on. A little bit of humanity, yes, but Tom Imura drags out the pathos of the zombie existance and the evils of nasty humans who chop them up like so much "kumbaya my lord" crap.
