This book keeps reminding me of Stephen King's The Gunslinger, but with a far more interesting setting. I've also never come across a character quite like Temple; Alden Bell does an amazing job creating someone who grew up in a zombie apocalypse.

So we're at the halfway point, and this really feels more like a victory lap than a new story. It is still pretty awesome, I still love all the characters but it just lacks the originality of the first. Guess we'll see how the second half goes.

Things are progressing very quickly.

Today's the day; it's out and it's mine. Oh I hope this live up the hype I've heard.
