This author takes Jesus' ministry and shows you how radical He was in His dealings with people and how effective He was to invite them in to view the same information within a different context! Amazing read and I learned so much of the context of the Middle Eastern culture in which Jesus lived and walked!

It was like reading To Kill a Mockingbird at first: dull and monotonous in Camus' description of his approach to life and his observation of everything around him. Obviously this is a commentary upon the character's vantage point towards his life and his society. However, it's starting to pick up now. He is involved with a woman and his neighbor just beat the mess out of his cheating girlfriend...

This story is just the cutest adventure. Lots of fun. I wonder what the movie will be like.

Just began "The Accident," last in trilogy. I look forward to his commentary. although I greatly enjoy Wiesel's imagery and tone.

I'm trying to discern why Coelho calls it a fable. It's more of the fantastical/supernatural/allegorical nature.
