Why is the female narrator for this audiobook whispering everything???

This is my first audiobook narrated by Aiden Snow and damn, that's a lovely voice, deep and kinda gravelly.

I lost so much momentum after the fated mates finally got together and I'm struggling to finish this, which is weird because normally I love Sam Hall ursa shifters books.

Enjoying this audiobook a lot, but it's so long and I don't have much time to listen, so it will be returned to library and I'll have to go on the wait list.

So far it's been short interactions of Reid hitting on Summer, then pushing her away. It's happened about 5 or 6 times so far. I really wanted to like this boook.

I feel like this is one of if the better bear books. The group sex scene was so good - a little too detailed for my personal taste (MMC POV only, the FMC POV was spot on), but beautifully emotional and really well written.

Also, I've changed my mind about Jesse. I don't know if non-shifters can be a fated mate or part of a sleuth, but what if he's Imogen's? Also, I'll be happy if he kills Phil.

We were finally making progress, and had one of the better sex scenes in all of the Sam Hall books I've read so far, and then we went and switched POV to someone who's not even a main character. Oooook.

We're 30 chapters in already.

I'm gonna need them to get it on soon, and for Imo to find out her huge hotties are bear shifters. Let's go!

I'm not feeling this yet. I get that it's a book about a fictional book series but it feels a bit like my friend telling me all about her niche hyperfocus.

It's kind of weird how she immediately thinks the town is a theme park or a prank rather than maybe the author didn't make it up and based her fictional town on a real one.

DNF at 37% - just not feeling it. Nothing particularly wrong with it so far, just not particularly engaging and the plot... what plot?

Honestly, I'm not enamoured by this yet. It's just not gripping me. Not sure if I want to DNF though.

She doesn't believe in the moon landing wtf?

Ugh, why are YA boys so much more mature and self aware and emotionally competent than real life boys?

There is SO MUCH LEFT of this book and only one conflict. How are we going to wrap it up?

Oh my fucking god no. Just no. This is TOO MUCH. It's trite!!!!

I will be both sad and relieved if the DONC is the last day in the loop. Sad because losing this character connection, relieved because consequences.

Are you even reading a YA contemporary if the FMC doesn't want to be a journalist and the love interest has a name other than Nick?

Is he living the same day too?

I am enjoying this so far but I feel that See You Yesterday was better.
