I've started--stopped--started many books this month. Hopefully, this will be the book that I will finish to the end. Coincidently, this is my first Neal Stephenson. It's not the usual place to start. Yet, I've connected to it.
There's an air of mystery surrounding the character Enoch Red, which has piqued my curiosity. Also, the writing is beautiful and the story begets complexity; and I need complexity atm.
