Loved the last story Something More. Great end to a great set of short stories that have left me on tenterhooks for the main story now. Not quite as good as The Last Wish for me but still found them very enjoyable. I've got more admiration for the first season of the tv series after reading those two books. They've done a great job.
Looking forward to reading all of the main series of books now.

Sword of Destiny - there are two sides to the sword of destiny. I am one, the other is death that waits for everyone. Geralt doesn't believe in destiny and doesn't believe that Ciri is his in his future. Boy oh boy are you wrong Geralt! Good short story introducing the reader to the mysterious forest of Brokilon and the ways of the dryad

A Little Sacrifice was quality - a love struck duke in love with a mermaid. Both demanding to give the other legs or fish tail but both demanding the other make the 'little' sacrifice. Undersea cities and mysteries with mosaic laden steps, sea creatures with armour and swords and a love struck female bard - Essi 'Little Eye' Daven aka Poppet. Geralt has it tough.
The last few lines of this short story are mysterious

Well wow. What a short story the Bounds of Reason is. Dense dialogue. Fun, snappy and engaging characters. Quick read and a great fantasy plot straight out of D & D lore. Absolutely loved it

Scott is on page 367 of 561 of The Outsider

Finally this has become unputdownable. First 200 pages build up a great mystery. Then King drops in some Ghostbusters like stuff. Then a character from Finders Keepers gets involved and King let's the leash go on the Big Bad and I can't stop reading it. He's in a league of his own when he books get his hooks into uu like this. Awesome
