Second story The Heist was a pretty good little twisty thriller

First short story - The Trial - The Women's Murder Club capture The Kingfisher. Nothing special but an effective quick read.

Well I knew there wasn't going to be a completely happy ending after the boss fight with The Herald because the entire trilogy up until that point had lived up to it's name - grim. And fabulously so.
But JC a Red Wedding of immense proportions two chapters before the end??? FFS! Shock and awe at the confidence to do that. For some of the characters it felt right though.

Roy thought that Italia 90 was a sub standard WC, that the Irish team was better than England's and that there were few outstanding players. Really? Got to disagree big time there fella. Final was dire though

Another interesting Carson Ryder adventure. Some crazy murders. Crazy characters and an outside setting for once. Let the games begin!

Another gripping story and one of the better mysteries Connolly has put together. Loving it so far
