Moving more slowly than I would like.

I forget how slowly Ware books move along, but I just love her writing. I can picture every movement and every room. Love.

So now we're writing in 1st person not 3rd? And every flipping sentence starts with, I tell you,
This is the worst string of random words put together and had the audacity to call itself a book I've ever set my eyes on.
DID ANYONE EDIT OR PROOFREAD THIS CRAP?!

What was I assume supposed to be a climatic death was made to be THE most unclimatic death I've EVER read about. And OH MY the dialogue is just horrendous! I will never read anything else by this "author". I am in shock this was published. I've read better papers in highschool. Maybe, hopefully, the ending will redeem itself...

The stupidest characters EVER.

Blah, blah, blah. If people actually COMMUNICATED in this book it'd be a 5 paragraph essay. It is just rambling on now. The little girl is mega annoying and acts like she's a 3 year old who is possibly autistic as she seems to have trouble communicating, but only after the first third of the book. She isn't acting like an 8 year old who is experiencing trauma. This is all so unrealistic and frankly just stupid.

I think it took too long to get to the point... just bored beyond belief. Like don't care, kill one, kill everyone, don't give a flying flip. Don't care for not one character, the captives are more annoying than the damn intruders.

12 pages in and already a plot... much better than my other book.

SO BORING. Can't connect with ANY characters. 72 pages in and there's no real plot. Just liberal propaganda...

Come on, get to the action. So slow.

I'm not a fan of all the diary entries and clips of movie/show scripts. There are better ways. Right now, it's like the book that won't end.
