I started this a month ago, but then put it down. I am reading it along with the YouTube videos the author has been posting, so I slowed down to let the videos catch up. I am glad I did, because now I can read the rest of this one!

I am very interested in what is going on with Lila, as she was my favorite in the first book. Poor Kell and Rhy seem lost. I hope they figure it out. BIG REVEAL at the end of part two!!!

The story is good so far, interesting. It does have a lot of similarities to that of Poppy and Cas, but there are enough differences. I like Ash. Sera is awesome!

I started this as an ebook, but the strike throughs were getting really annoying to look at. I MUCH prefer the audiobook version. The idea of the strike throughs is still there, but not nearly as annoying.

I don't see why people skip this one. I know it is mostly about Chaol but it is really good so far! I love the character of Yrene, so it is worth it for her alone.
