sometimes i find myself dozing a bit but then sometimes wow engrossing :)

this has been good but god damn it’s hard to jump back into her style of long sentences and the way she mimicks how the mind can wander. thats what makes her goat tho

liking the very accurate way disillusionment a d being lost is being portrayed

thoroughly enjoying this so far. and im sure it’s gonna get bonkers at some point

this is the point in my reading where i wished i ordered my next book slightly sooner

incase anyone is wondering, Ficciones definitely rules. this next book looking to be good too

ok borges is the fucking man. the stories are now what i expected (mind bending ideas). yes

the first book was mostly his retellings of infamous criminals in history. entertaining but not exactly what i got book for. i liked The Masked Dyer the most. cool ancient prophecy vibes

feels like when he says something dank i alrdy agreed with him and when he says something i dont understand, i dont understand it. still cool book tho

the last 200 pages have been good. its a pity they didnt come 200 pages earlier (someone abridge this book for atheists thanks)

switched my book edition for page accuracy. ill miss that red for whatever reason.

the thing they dont tell you, on the back cover, is that the titular brothers are Horny As Fuck and thats their defining trait. dad too

realizing that im gonna disagree with him on a lot of political and religious opinions lol. hopefully the story and existential stuff is still enough

this translation has used the word “voluptuous” in ways i dont understand
i like the way mr stoyevsky writes, though its long winded
