It's fun, but I'm not as into it as the first one.

It is very difficult to set up in Currently Reading, the actual comic book I am reading. There's a graphic novel listing that is hard to discern from issue #1 of the comic itself. There's Lansdale versus Landsdale listings. There are separate listings showing the correct data and cover, but say Unknown instead of giving an author (or artist). Okay, I don't have 'Platinum Edition', but this is closest to what I have.

My intro to Jonah Hex was a strange one - I bought the series called Hex, that thrust him into a Mad Max future! I actually loved it, but it’s not where Jonah is supposed to be. A mini-series called Jonah Hex: Two-Gun Mojo tempted me, and I’ve dug that out for a re-read; but it turns out I have #s 1, 71-80, and #92 (final issue of the series from the 1970s). So, I’ll read #1, then Mojo, then 71-80, then 92.

Re-read might improve my outlook - very happy with it.

A re-read. Most of the Doctor Who books - or any book, really - that I choose to re-read will likely be a 4 or 5 star book as rated by me the first go-round…but I’m curious about a few that might seem better if they get another shot.

Complete balderdash, from a science perspective. A lot of fun, though.

Right. So I suddenly find myself not as committed to a June reading event involving Westerns as I thought I would be. Still...enthusiasm for the genre itself means that I'm in the mood for at least one, and maybe I'll save other Westerns for random times later in the year. We'll see. It has been a while, so I'll bring in June with this one.

Excited to read this, after ordering it all the way from the UK...but not as excited as I thought I would be. The reading guide, Yesterday's Tomorrows, with its focus on British SF, includes this on its list of recs - but, after ordering the book, I happened to skim the essay (usually, I don't, until after reading the book), and saw that the book is kind of ridiculed, but included as an example of old SF for boys.

Heading into Part 5, and what happens with illegals during and after the collapse of the Soviet Union. It’s a fascinating book.
