Good read, but still in a sad spot in Simu’s life. Just generational conflict, to put it simply. The scars remain. I wonder if he is talking about it in therapy now.

Good so far. I’m in a sad part of the book, though, just seeing the conflicts he had with his parents when he was in high school. Makes me see the characters he’s portrayed in a different light (Jung on Kim’s Convenience and Shang-Chi in Shang-Chi).
