This book is still confusing as hell but shit is finally getting good and I'm so ready for it.

I think I know where this is going.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's an honor to present you the shortest toxic love story of all time. It lasted for precisely 50 pages and was as interesting as watching the grass in my garden grow.

I have the habit of skimming over the reviews of friends whenever I start a new book. And let me tell you, Red Rising has almost exclusively 5* reviews. I'm having high expectations for this now.

So. I made the mistake of reading the blurb of the second book. And now I feel betrayed. Apparently, Renata is going to suffer from Stockholm syndrome and catch feelings for the guy who beheaded her former lover. You know, the beautiful boy she would have done anything for? Yeah. I'm thinking about DNF-ing this book right now because I didn't sign up for such bullshit.
