Never thought I’d see these words anywhere other than the song and feel the same as the song made me feel.

It is good but ngl, the writing is pretty basic.

The way this friendship is set, I can already predict one of them is going to die at some point and I’m going to get my heart broken. But that just tells you how invested I already am in these characters!

To the young men who have passed through The Proving, and to the young women who have nothing to prove.

I liked that.

At one point in this series Lin’s going to die and I’m gonna feel so sad about it. He’s the only character I like at this point. Lorian’s the next.

He is such a hypocrite. He is very interesting, mind you, but the decisions he make are sometimes so against all the principles he gives us. If only he was a more likable character, every single book in this series would be a 5 star for me.

For the first time in the whole series I'm on the edge of my seat. FINALLY. It took nearly 2k pages.

I have absolutely zero idea why I’m reading this. This is the 31st book with the same protagonist and I started with this for some reason.

Can’t believe I’m saying this but that first chapter was actually good. I hope to God this book better keep it’s pace.

Is it weird to feel sad for a serial killer? Probably is.

Is he seriously jealous because someone claimed they knew the serial killer better than him?

Istg Miro feels so toxic at places. Maybe he deserved the serial killer.

This is what happens when you are a mood reader. I started this book all excited and hyped because of all the amazing reviews and the blurb and since I was busy for a week, it took me a bit longer to get through. Now I’m not in a mood for this😭 like there are literally just 7 chapters left but even forcing myself to read it isn’t helping.

Did that…..did that just happen? Is it for real?
