I haven’t read this since I was a teenager. When I was a child, I would read it over and over again. I decided I’d read it again to remind me why I love fantasy so much. I’m revising a manuscript of my own at the moment, and sometimes you lose the magic when it becomes work for you. The Hobbit and LOTR has always been able to show me that magic, time and time again. Going back to it, nothing’s changed.
