I'm not sure how I feel about this so far. It is, on the one hand, a compelling page-turning thriller. On the other hand, I'm finding the characters a bit one-note dominant; they're somewhat complex but they keep fixating on a singular note. note. I get the conflicts involved in this plot, but we see our two main characters POVs which quickly revert to whining. My library hold is up and I'm waiting. Well see.

I have several problems with this. Considering DNFing, but also want to see what else I have problems with. Not enjoying this. But not angry I'm reading it yet.
