The ending was not as disappointing as I had feared but also not completely convincing. Nonetheless this was in my opinion the best of Strobel's recent books.

Having read the whole trilogy before and therefore knowing the secrets behind the maze this wasn't exactly 100% as thrilling as the first time but the reread definitely made me remember why I love this book so much
