I put down "The Beach Beneath the Street" because I need to read this one quickly.

got off to a bad start. it was when i didn't have time to read. i plan to read a chapter a day (they are short). In the mean time I will work on the others on my 'currenl;y reading' list.

I'm reading this one a little at a time.

Because the church was founded practically in my backyard in Upstate New York, I've read several books about the earliest history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He's making slow progress on this one . . . the new translation is far superior to the old one I read in school . . . It allows you to get the irony, tone, and humor (yes, humor!, believe it or not)in the novel.

My wife Julia started reading the German text -- it's one of her favorites -- but her copy of the book disintegrated (fell apart) . . .

Will he finish it? It's a difficult book he read in college but really had no clue what it is about . . . We'll see how it goes!
